Halfback Sam Nock has re-signed with the Blues for another two seasons, committing through until the end of the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific campaign.

Nock, who appeared 11 times in the Blues 2024 championship season is somewhat of a veteran at the club and will add to his 73 Blues caps when he runs out next season.

“I’ve been with the Blues since 2016, I’ve grown up here and made some life-long mates, so to sign on for another couple of seasons was an easy decision,” said Nock.

He said he felt the team shifted up a gear in 2024 and could feel the wave of support from across the Blues region. 

“I love the mindset shift we’ve made and can’t wait to keep growing on that. Seeing our region get behind us during the title run definitely made us hungry for more. Let’s get after it - kia ora tatou,” said Nock.

Nock will join fellow halfbacks Finlay Christie and Taufa Funaki for the 2025 season.
