Tafito was somewhat of a late comer to the rugby world, but she has wasted no time making a name for herself.

From tagging along to watch her nephew’s rugby trainings, Tafito finally laced up the boots for herself and is now a proud College Rifles player.

 With a dynamic sporting background in athletics, netball and basketball, Tafito is a very versatile player to have in the forward pack - a loose forward who can cover lock as well.

In 2019 Tafito made her debut for Auckland Storm in the FPC before being welcomed into the 2022 Black Ferns squad where she was awarded her first Black Ferns Cap.
