Josh Beehre had his first fully contracted season with the Blues in 2024 and made every post a winner! 

He made 12 appearances for the team in 2024, debuting in the opening game of the season against the Fijian Drua in his hometown of Whangārei after captain Patrick Tuipulotu broke his jaw in a pre-season match. 

Beehre is a success story of the Blues development programme having represented the Blues at both Under-18 and Under-20 level before training with the squad in 2023 under a National Development Contract.  

He comes into his second fully contracted season at Blues HQ with the knowledge he can hold his own in Super Rugby Pacific and will be looking to continue his development under the watchful eye of veteran lock Patrick Tuipulotu.
