Che Clark has been part of the Blues development system throughout his early career, involved with Blues teams at the Under-17, 18 and 20 level.  

He’s a fleet footed, skilled loose-forward who attended King’s College and plays his NPC rugby for Auckland. 

Che was part of the 2021 New Zealand Schools team and was named in the tournament team at the 2021 World School Sevens. 

Clark’s time with the All Blacks Sevens squad, was highlighted with a bronze medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.  

He had signalled his intent to return to rugby and now returns to the Blues to take up a playing contract for the first time.  

Che is contracted with the Blues through until the end of the 2026 season.
