2024 AWARDS WINNERS

Plummer, Vahaakolo claim top gongs

 

The Blues held their annual awards evening last night in Auckland, celebrating the 2024 season to-date. 

It was a special night for Harry Plummer and Katelyn Vahaakolo who picked up the Blues Player and nib Blues Player of the Year awards respectively.

Other top gongs went to Dalton Papali’i (Blues Forward) and Aldora Itunu (nib Blues Forward) as well as Taufa Funaki and Vahaakolo picking up the respective Back of the Year Awards.

Hard-working loose forward Rob Rush was named the club’s Community Award for 2024 while Kahlia Awa and Cole Forbes were recognised as the club’s two best rookie performers this season.

Voted by his peers, Hoskins Sotutu was named the Blues Players’ Player of the Year.
