Blues Rugby and their principal partner, nib, are proud to present the Battle at the Blues - Whānau Touch Tournament.
Fun for the whole whānau, there will be delicious kai, side-line activities, tours of Blues HQ and amazing prizes up for grabs. There will also be special appearances from some of your favourite Blues players on the day!
This social touch tournament will feature eight teams as they compete to crown the first ever winner.
There’ll also be free on-site health checks for you and your whānau thanks to the nib Check-Up Clinic!
When: Sunday 14th April, 10am to 3pm
Where: Blues HQ training field - 32 Campbell Crescent, Epsom, Auckland 1051
Social Touch Tournament Format
Eight teams of nine participants (six on the field with three subs)
There will be 8-minute halves, with a 2-minute half-time and 5-minutes in between each round of games
2 x pools of four teams that play each other once, e.g. 3 x pool games followed by the finals
Register your details by Thursday 4th April 2024, along with what team you have signed up for and how many whānau members you’re bringing as supporters (maximum of 3).
