Tara burst onto the scene in her first season of Farah Palmer Cup for Northland. The young first-five/fullback comes from a big family and a touch rugby background.   

Turner was a recipient of a Tania Dalton Scholarship, a foundation that guides athletes over three years with one-on-one mentoring and personal development opportunities.   

She was part of the Northland Kauri’s FPC Championship winning side in 2023 and was once again part of the nib Blues in the 2024 Super Rugby Aupiki championship season. 

Unfortunately injury kept Turner on the sidelines for the 2024 campaign so she’ll be looking to return to the nib Blues in 2025, fit, healthy and ready to go!
