Atlanta Lolohea joins the nib Blues with Super Rugby Aupiki experience, having previously played and won a championship with Matatū.

She is a hardworking hooker who despite being in her early twenties, has been around professional rugby from a young age.

Lolohea was just 17-years-old when she was part of Canterbury's Farah Palmer Cup squad for 2020. However, it wasn’t until 2022 where she made her debut against Wellington and had a standout season, awarded ‘Most Promising FPC Player of the Year’.

In 2023 Atlanta was called into the Black Ferns as injury cover during the final week of WXV.

She impressed with her professionalism and hard work, making her Black Ferns debut against Australia in Brisbane in 2024.

Lolohea joins the nib Blues with a reshuffle in the hooker department. Her professionalism, hard work and experience will prove valuable as she looks to establish herself up north at the nib Blues.
