#truebluebox a hit with social media fans

Some of the Blues’ most passionate social media fans were invited to an exclusive corporate box to watch Saturday night’s final game of the season against the Chiefs at Eden Park.
While there were plenty of highs and lows in Blues head coach Sir John Kirwan’s inaugural year at the helm, our fans were always behind the team despite the results so it was a great way to say a huge thanks for their continued support.
Fully catered with food and drinks, 30 lucky fans who had been part of True Blue HQ this season ñ the Blues’ digital cheer squad, had the opportunity to catch up with all the Blues players not involved in the match day 22 and watch the game from the comfort of the #truebluebox in the West stand.†
They were also given individualised t-shirts, with #TrueBlue on the front and their very own twitter handle on the back.†
It was a brilliant night to chat about the season and put faces to the names of our most passionate online fans.
Apologies we couldn’t accommodate all of our fans but rest assured there will be plenty of opportunities next season!
A huge thanks to Barfoot & Thompson who have supported True Blue HQ all season; without them none of this would be possible so we are extremely grateful. Like you they are huge supporters of the Blues and do a brilliant job at connecting the fans with the team.
