Fans can buy individual seats for any of the eight Blues’ homes games for the 2019 Investec Super Rugby Championship from today.
There are seven home games at Eden Park including four NZ derbies while the Sunwolves from Japan will travel to Auckland for the first time to take on the Blues at QBE Stadium in Albany.
Tickets, available from Ticketmaster.co.nz, are $9 for children 13 years and under with any paying-adult in any of the seating zones – Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze (GA). Adult tickets range from $26 for Bronze (GA) up to $60 for Platinum seating. There is also a 10 per cent discount for group buys of 10 or more tickets.
The Blues are keen to show that Auckland too can have a vibrant university culture by introducing a new zone for students in the East Stand. Student Zone tickets will be available through the Niesh student app which will feature some exclusive giveaways and opportunities for uni students.
Fans are in for an extra treat at the first home game against the Crusaders on 16 February. The Blues will celebrate Chinese New Year with stadium dressing including lanterns and a Chinese Dragon dance at halftime. When the gates open for Blues vs Sunwolves at QBE Stadium on 09 March, fans can expect a taste of Japanese culture. It is a focus on junior rugby fans for Club Night against the Stormers on 30 March at Eden Park where fans will be invited onto the field following the game. Later in the season when the Chiefs come to town fans are promised great rugby and some rucking good laughs courtesy of local comedians.
There’s more to come with plans to introduce new seating zones and unique in stadium opportunities for fans in the coming weeks.
So, there’s lots to enjoy on top of some superlative Super Rugby with the Blues in 2019.
