Team mates with Ofa Tuungafasi and Jimmy Tupou in the New Zealand Under-20s in 2012, the big loose forward moved to Italy to play professionally for two years. He returned to play for North Harbour in 2016, becoming a key part of a hard-working pack and was rewarded for that hard work and consistent performances with elevation to the Blues.
