David Raikuna joined the Blues for his first and only season of Super Rugby in 2012. At 24, he reached national honours as a member of the New Zealand Sevens team, and had the ability to cover centre, wing and fullback. Raikuna started his representative career with Counties-Manukau before moving to North Harbour in 2011.
The flanker has NZ Under-20 experience, from the 2010 World Cup, and earned his first cap for the Maori All Blacks in 2014. Sean came in to the Blues environment for two seasons before moving down to the Chiefs.
