Blues Dev team to play Hurricanes Dev

A strong Blues Development squad has been named for this Wednesday’s match against Hurricanes Development in Taupo.

The team features four players who have recently been named in the New Zealand under-20 squad for the Oceania Championship on the Gold Coast at the end of April: Tu’ungafasi, Polwart, Karpik and Hunt.

There are also six Blues players who will compete in the Development team, including Simon Hickey who will captain the team for the second time. Also of note is Jamie Booth’s selection, the first time the young Manawatu half-back will be wearing blue.
The game will be played at Taupo’s Owen Delaney Park, kick-off at 2pm. Free entry.
